My name is Caitlin Taylor and I am a Columbus native from a family of four. I attended school in the Olentangy Local School District and graduated with an Honors diploma. I am in my fourth year at UC and absolutely love my life here. I'm a Middle Childhood Education major with concentrations in Natural Science and Language Arts and am about to graduate as a Presidential Leadership Medal of Excellence recipient and from the University Honors Program, recognized with Honors with Distinction. I love to read YA novels, practice yoga and barre, and visit coffee shops. In my free time I like to walk my dog Charles, catch up on Pretty Little Liars, and enjoy sitting on my porch with a cup of coffee. In the near future I hope to become a middle school teacher in an urban setting, teaching language arts or natural science. Or both! I am interested in having a leadership role in a low-income school such as a principal. My favorite aspect of the University Honors Program is the valuable support system I have and how connected it has made me to my University! I can't believe the journey is coming to an end!
